Who we are
Come See Costa Rica provides travel planning, private transportation, tours, local experiences and related visitor services in Costa Rica. For privacy questions or requests, contact info@comeseecostarica.com.
Information we collect
We may collect information you choose to provide, including your name, email address, telephone/WhatsApp number, preferred contact method, travel dates, number of travelers, destinations, service interests and the contents of messages or requests. If you use our chatbot, conversation content and related technical or visitor information may also be processed. We may also receive limited technical and security information needed to operate and protect the website.
Why we use information
We use personal information to respond to inquiries; prepare or coordinate travel, transportation, tour and itinerary requests; communicate about requested services; provide customer support; operate and secure the website; prevent abuse; maintain necessary business records; and comply with applicable legal obligations.
Medical-tourism inquiries
Our initial medical-tourism inquiry channel is intended for travel and coordination questions, not for medical diagnosis or submission of medical records. Please do not send medical records, diagnoses, test results, medication lists or other sensitive health information through the initial website form or chatbot.
Service providers and recipients
We use service providers to operate the website and communications. These currently include Cloudflare for website infrastructure, delivery, security and privacy-focused web analytics; TalkSilo for the website chatbot; and FormSubmit for technical processing of website form submissions. Chatbot conversation content may be processed by AI service providers to generate responses. Information may also be disclosed where required by law or necessary to protect rights, security or the service. We do not sell personal information.
International processing
Some service providers may process information in countries outside Costa Rica. Internet services may involve routing or processing across multiple jurisdictions.
Retention
We retain personal information only for as long as reasonably necessary for the purpose for which it was collected, for follow-up and service delivery, for legitimate business records, or as required by law. Information that is no longer required should be deleted or anonymized, subject to legal, accounting, dispute or security needs.
Your privacy rights
Subject to applicable law, you may request access to personal information held about you and request correction, updating or deletion where appropriate. You may also withdraw consent where processing depends on consent, without affecting prior lawful processing. Send requests to info@comeseecostarica.com. We may take reasonable steps to verify identity before acting on a request.
Costa Rica data rights
Costa Rica’s Law No. 8968 recognizes rights including access, rectification and suppression of personal data. Come See Costa Rica maintains an internal procedure to route privacy requests promptly.

Security
We use reasonable technical and organizational safeguards appropriate to the nature of the service, including HTTPS/TLS, security headers and infrastructure protections. No Internet transmission or storage method can be guaranteed to be completely secure.
Children
We do not knowingly seek to collect personal information directly from children without appropriate involvement of a parent or legal guardian. If you believe a child has provided personal information improperly, contact us.
Changes
We may update this Privacy Policy when our services, providers, technologies or legal requirements change. The current version will be posted here with its last-updated date.
