Cancellation & Refund Policy

This policy explains how cancellations, refunds and changes work for services booked with Come See Costa Rica.
Private transfers and private drivers
Free cancellation up to 24 hours before the scheduled pickup time (Costa Rica time). If you cancel in time, we refund 100% of the amount paid to the original payment method.
Cancellations made less than 24 hours before pickup, and no-shows, are not refundable.
For round trips, each leg has its own 24-hour cancellation deadline.
Reservations made less than 24 hours before departure do not include a free-cancellation window; this is shown before you confirm.
Refunds
Refunds for cancellations made in time are issued to the same payment method used for the booking. Banks and card issuers usually show the refund within 5–10 business days; payments in cryptocurrency are returned to the paying wallet, and network timing may vary.
Changes to a reservation
You can ask to change the date, time, pickup or drop-off address or number of travelers. Changes depend on availability and may change the price; we always confirm the new price before applying it. Please request changes at least 24 hours before pickup.
Airport pickups and flight delays
For airport pickups we monitor your flight. Your driver waits up to 60 minutes after the actual landing time at no extra cost. If you need more time, contact us; any additional waiting time depends on availability and will be confirmed with you, including any cost, before it applies.
Tours and third-party services
Tours, attractions, accommodation and other services provided by independent operators follow their own cancellation conditions, which we include in your written quote before you confirm.
If we need to cancel
If Come See Costa Rica must cancel a service for safety, weather, road closures or other reasons beyond your control, we offer a new date or a 100% refund.
How to cancel or request a change
Write to info@comeseecostarica.com or WhatsApp +506 7076 9981 with your reservation reference. The time of your message (Costa Rica time) is used to calculate the deadline.
This policy works together with our Website Terms of Use and any service-specific conditions confirmed in writing for your reservation. Nothing in it limits rights you have under Costa Rica consumer-protection law.
