A conservation-focused educational visit
Toucan Rescue Ranch cares for rescued wildlife and uses its educational walks to explain the animals’ stories, their recovery and the work required to protect Costa Rica’s biodiversity. The visit is a responsible observation experience: wildlife is not handled by visitors and animal welfare remains the priority.
An approximately 2-hour guided walk featuring rescued wildlife and conservation education.
The experience may include sloths, toucans, parrots, owls, spider monkeys, weasels and other resident species.
Onsite visits require reservations and may be conducted in English and Spanish depending on availability.
Wildlife and education at the sanctuary
Guides share rescue and recovery stories, species facts and the importance of conservation. For travelers beginning a Costa Rica journey, the walk can also help build familiarity with native wildlife and the habitats where these species belong.
Responsible wildlife tourism
