A working coffee estate on the slopes of Poás Volcano where Costa Rican coffee tradition is experienced from plant to cup.
A century of coffee tradition
Hacienda Doka traces its coffee craft to 1895 and is known for one of Costa Rica’s oldest wet coffee mills. The estate grows, processes and roasts coffee in the Poás region, where volcanic soils and elevation shape the crop.
What the tour explores
The guided experience follows coffee from the seedbed through cultivation, depulping, fermentation, drying and roasting. Visitors learn how traditional processing works and finish with a tasting of Hacienda Doka coffees.
